ECLInsider: Speculation has arisen about the new ECL signee John 'Rottweiler' Roscoe, the relative unknown showed up on the underground fight scene in 2005, and has been a force ever since.
From what we understand, Roscoe trains alone on a rural farm in Billings, Montana. Roscoe is infamous for being a big trash talker, womanizer, fight starter, and for sporting his trademark leather knuckle straps (as opposed to the regulated three inch padded gloves) in all of his fights. In keeping with the old Greek form of MMA known as Pankration. Roscoe utilizes an odd stance, which looks to come from the days of bare-knuckle prizefighting in the 17 and 1800's .. Hands held low and palms turned upwards to protect his torso, and to add power to his strikes as they come from underneath the defense of the opponent.
Roscoe is a Pit Fighter and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Specialist.
