1. Fedor Emelianenko 2. Anderson Silva 3. Georges St. Pierre (I wanted to put him first because he's my fave... but I had to go with my brain.) 4. Miguel Torres (BW is an up-and-coming division. He will dominate for a long time!) 5. BJ Penn (He should stop whining though) 6. Lyoto Machida 7. Shinya Aoki 8. Rashad Evans (I'm sure he'll be stopped eventually) 9. Josh Barnett 10. Forrest Griffin

1. GSP - Hate all you want, but tell me the first non-can Fedor's had in the last 2 years minus Arlovski. I'm not saying Fedor isn't the best, but GSP's had a breakneck pace and going through legit competition at his weight class. 2. Fedor Emelianenko - Fine, he's fucking astounding. 3. Anderson Silva - Been quite a layoff for the guy after a lackluster performance against a lackluster opponent. 4. Miguel Torres - I love this guy. Puts on quality fights every damn time and legitimately tries VERY difficult manuevers, pulling them off with seemingly no effort. 5. Rashad Evans - Until proven otherwise, he sits atop the most highly competitive division in the most highly competitive company... that makes him the man. I think one more emphatic win, be it over Rampage or Lyoto (assuming he can catch him) and he may be in the top 2 or 3. 6. BJ Penn - God, I hate him but fine... he's great. A great LW and had he weighed as much as George, he probably wouldn't have gotten shelacked SO bad. 7. Mike Thomas Brown - He's legit. He proved that now. And until Urijah comes back and beats him (which I'm pretty sure will happen, assuming he doesn't try any more Pro Wrestling moves) he's got the spot. 8. Thiago Alves - If you put someone in front of him, chances are very good that he's going to knock them out. A few weeks notice, a few months notice, doesn't seem to matter. He handed Koscheck his ass and gave him the Apu "Thank you, Come again." We'll see if it measures up against Rush, though. 9. Lyoto Machida - My doubts were squashed pretty quickly with his 4:59 dismantling of Thiago Silva. It was punctuated and yet, beautiful. Poetry in motion with a lightning fast cross that scrambled Silva's brain. Amazing. 10 - Tie: Rampage Jackson and Forrest Griffin- Originally this spot was reserved for Rampage, up until he came out looking like a soup sandwhich against Jardine. Sloppy. He was hesitant, his hands were all over the place... if he didn't have that knockout power, that would've been a one sided affair in Jardine's favor. Forrest, on the other hand, won't admit to it, but sources say he may've been sick against Rashad. After watching the match a few times, it definitely didn't seem like the go for broke Griffin I've been accustomed to. Not saying that he's the brawler he was back in the early days, but even against Rampage he was setting up combos and darting in and out as if he had unlimited lung capacity.
